Projects – Voting & Elections Series

Voting rights in the United States are facing a crisis. In the ten years since Shelby County vs Holder, the court case that removed key aspects of the Voting Rights Act, many laws have been enacted to disenfranchise voters.

The crochet pieces in this series each examine a different aspect of the electoral process in the United States. Explore the pieces to learn more about voter turnout, incarcerated voting rights, campaign finance, and the impact voter suppression has in the country.
